This coming summer, the true woman of style isn't planning on playing it safe. Forever searching for the perfect cocktail dress and chic and easy daytime look, she will be the first to embrace Karen Walker’s 2009 resort collection when it hits stores... in October.

Seemingly selecting hues from the color wheel of a slowly evolving sunset, Karen has designed a second summer range which defies expectations. Some styles from first summer have been repeated on different shades and fabrics, while others are being newly introduced for Resort. Meanwhile, Runaway takes a walk on the wild side with animal prints and splashes of gold.

The strong collection of wearable pieces will be the perfect boost out of winter’s dreariness and into the sunshine of the months ahead.
